Some "Idle Thoughts”

(A collection of bits & pieces, recently inspired while playing on the computer with the TV on in the background...)

I'm in love with Sarah Palin.

1. She's HOT

2. She's Intelligent

3. And, she's “The Girl Next Door”

Besides for purely political reasons (and the MSM's savaging of her), who wouldn't be?

And, THAT's what scares “them...”

What is we elected the Supreme Court Justices?

Could we possibly be any better or worse off than we are right now?

We don't need no more cops.

As long as duh mayor sees better crime statistics (due primarily to the lack of police on the streets and increasing slower response times due to their depleted numbers, so that the crime is gone bu the time that the cops arrive) he thinks that things are actually getting better.

It would be interesting and quite telling to see how the President elect, Senator Barak Obama will frequently be referred to/as.

Based on recent history, he would be called Mr. Obama, not President Obama, in keeping the “traditional” way that outgoing President Bush has been.

To do anything else, IMNHO, would be a slap in the face to president Bush, and expose the media's blatant prejudice towards President Bush and their collective hypocrisy to the rest of the world.

Billy Mays (Maize??), that freaky “chef Tony,” that nameless “matronly” lady ”chef,” and that ShamWow guy...

Who picks these people to do commercials..., to SELL their products?

More importantly, who would BUY these overly hyped products?

And then, there's the “all thumbs” lady fumbling for a cell phone in her big, disorganized purse,

Oh, and I just love those of those other “all thumbs”/clumsy people who suddenly become “all together,” confident and proficient, when the switch to the “product du jour...

On Those 3857 (or whatever) “Just Discovered” Morgan Silver Dollars....

Why, if this “deal” (only $19.90 ea. Plus $ ???? S&H)(A strict limit 5 per order, remember...) is so great is this commercial still on TV?

By my reckoning, it's been already running for 6 weeks now. Surely there must be (3857 (or whatever)/5=771+) willing buyers (SUCKERS) out there, so what gives?

Or, is the number of coins “reportedly found” bogus????

Kinda makes me wanna go Hmmm...

This commercial doesn't pass the smell test.

When is a reporter (electronic or print media, it makes no difference) NOT a reporter?

When they report the story... NO!

When they Invent/Drive “the story,” YES!

When they opine (“report,” including their personal personal biases/slants, thereby influencing/setting the tone) while attempting to pass this thinly veiled news report as an objective work), DEFINITELY, YES!

When they become the story, which used to eliminate them covering the story, YES!

A promise/threat, more thoughts are sure to come/follow ;-)

HT,

On Palin, it wasn't the Democratic approach that surprised me as much as the beltway weasels being even more aggressive.

As for the judges, forget the Supremes, I would be happy enough to see us get to vote on federal judges. At least we could get some.

As for Billy, I just wish he would do a better dye job on the beard and hair.

As for the coins, the best way to sell something is to limit the amount that can be purchased. "One to a customer" (or five) is always good incentive.

Tim,

Re: Palin, it just confirms my suspicion that Washington is inhabited mainly by jackals...

Re: The supreme court, you're right, at least we'd get some... Or, if we outlawed both walkers and Depends, maybe a few of the less competent (and continent) judges would leave, instead of hanging on until their replacement can be named by a liberal President.

Judges shouldn't be timing their retirement to favor either party, IMNHO.

Billy... he's no Greek (Grecian) ;-)

Those coins: Tell me how someone can but as many commercials as they have purchased and not turn over the few numbers they claimed to be available unless they are way overpriced or the numbers are greater than claimed...
