Princess Margarita of Baden passed away on the evening of 15. January 2013 at her home after a long illnes. She was born on 14. July 1932 at Salem Castle as the oldest child of Margrave Berthold of Baden and his wife Theodroa, née Princess of Greece and Denmark. Her unle is Prince Philip of Great Britain, Duke of Edinburgh.
Since the 1950 she lived in the United Kingdom where she also meet her future husband Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia, the second son of King Alexander I. The couple married on 05. June 1957 at Salem Castle. The couple had 2 children, Prince Nicolas and Princess Katharina. They where divorced in 1982. After the divorce the Princess took her maiden name. She workef for years at hospitals in London.
The funeral Service for the late Princess will take place in the next days at the serbian-orthodox St. Sava Church in London. Later the Princess will be buried at Salem. This will take place in the closest Family circle.
