Louis & Philippa - Rohrbach 20.08.2011

On Saturday 20.08.2011 the religious Wedding of Prince Louis zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn and Countess Philippa Spannocchi took place at the St. Jacobus Church at Rohrbach in Upper Austria. The Family of the brides lives at the Sprinzesntein Castle nearby. The couple had already married in a civil Ceremony on 20.05.2011 at Sayn Castle.
The ceremony started at 11h00. The groom arrived around 1 hours before the Service started accompanied by his brothers Hereditary Prince Heinrich and Prince Peter. The 2 had the lists with the guests and showed the guests their places. Soon also the guests arrvied among them Count Vincenz and Countess Katharina of Schönborn-Buchheim and of course the family of the groom and bride. Also the grooms graadmother Fürstin Marianne (Manni) arrvied at the arm of her youngest son, Prince Peter and the groms parents Fürst Alexander and Fürstin  Gabriela. Soon before the servie stated the Family came in a Cortege around the church headed by Fürstin Gabriela with the groom, followed by Fürst Alexander with the brides mother, Countess Verena 'Spannocchi and then the siblings of the groom and bride. Around 5 mintues later the bride and her father Count Hieronymus Spannocchi arrived in an Mercedes Cabriolet. They where driven direct to the entrance of the Church. The bride wore a family tiara and a beautiful old lace Veil. As she had left the Car the bride greeted first the flower chidlren (Philippa Karamt, Coutness Elisabeth Hunyadi, Coutness Anna-maria of Schönborn-Wiesentheid, Counts Clemens and Philipp of Schönborn-Buchheim and Prince Alexander zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn). The bride and her father hjd to wait a bit before entering the Church as some late guests arrived. Then the procession in the church started and the Service begun. During the Service the church doors remained open so that everyone couuld stand in the back of the Chruch to follow the Serive. The Service lasted for around 1,5 hours. The the birdal Couple left the Church to the sound of the Orgel Toccata of Charles Marie Widor. Outside the where greeted by the local people who had gathered there to see their Countess marry. The bridal Couple posed then for the photographers alone and also together with the flower children. Then they went into another corner of the place around the Church to recevive the congratulation of their parents. Also the grooms grandmother and wellknown photographer Fürstin Marianne took some pictures of the bridal couple. Then everyone could gratulate the birdal Couple. After sometime the went to the Cabriolet the grok helped to get the train in the car. Then they drove away to Sprinzenstein Castle where a reception took place.
