San Antonio, Texas:

Not sore from Sunday's hike, no blisters, not exhausted. That's a good sign. On our journey north we will gradually increase our elevation while hiking to acclimatize ourselves to Yellowstone's higher campgrounds and hiking trails. Thankfully neither of us has problems with altitude sickness.

Today, I took five hardback books into our RV park library that we had finished reading: "The Hunger Games" trilogy by Suzanne Collins, "Long Lost," by Harlan Coben and "Storming Heaven," by Kyle Mills. It's impossible for me to drop off books in a library without picking out some alternate ones. I think I came back with eight books, but after looking at ones we had already and the ones Bob brought back yesterday, I duplicated two titles which I will return tomorrow.

A few repairs are needed to the 5er. Bob called a mobile RV repairman to look at fixing those things that need it. If the price is right, he will be back tomorrow morning to do the repairs. One step closer to leaving for Yellowstone.

Wednesday I'll be taking my Escape pod in for maintenance and to have suspension and brakes checked. After driving on bumpy caliche roads in the oil fields, it's definitely a good idea to check suspension.

Today, I requested our timeshare exchange for a week in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at the end of November. Our other three Australia timeshare weeks are booked, but so far haven't found a place in the Melbourne vicinity. We're on a waiting list. So far, we've always found a place. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. I think the main thing we're dealing with at that time of year is their spring break.

Tonight for dinner I'm experimenting with making BBQ chicken in the Crockpot. It sure smells good! We'll also be having a nice green salad.

Welcome to Rick & Paulette of Rick & Paulette's RV Travels and Marsha, Joe, Coco and Ebony at Campers4Lifex2. Nice to have you aboard the TravelBug train. We'll be chugging along out of our current "station" shortly. Woo woo!
