Tennessee Revisited

In my ongoing effort to add photos to old blogs from a time when we had no internet connection on vacation, here are three blogs from February 2011. Our itinerary took us to Oak Ridge, Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, Madisonville and Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Chickamauga Battlefield in Georgia. Our days were full and we had an exceptionally good time. It's fun to re-live the trip. Enjoy.

Tennessee Aquarium and Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park: Saturday, February 26, 2011

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers. Enjoy your day off.

Bob was feeling much better today and spent half a day at the office.

I hung with the cats and rested. The temperature didn't get much over 60 degrees today. I kept being cold so I got up and looked at our indoor thermometer: 60 degrees INSIDE. Okay, time to turn on the furnace. Ahhhh...nice and toasty. I also got a second blanket out to keep me warm in the recliner. It's pretty good because the blanket drapes down off the end of the footrest right over the heat register. The warm air comes up under the blanket. Bowie has been camped out on the recliner with me day and night. Guess where? On the footrest where the warm air is blowing. Cats know a good thing when they find it.

Four more kitty pics. (I gotta get out more. LOL. Need new subject material. Be patient, Susan, the doctor said after Tuesday.)

Bowie's famous pose.
What? Dis blanket's not fur me?
Hey! Don't furget about me.

Starting to get stir crazy. Travel Bug staying in.
